This weeks Super Star Swag honor goes to freshman #42 Austin Damon. Austin earned his first high school varsity game touchdown against the Pickens Dragons last week. He is a up-and-comer for the Bobcats and sure we will see alot more of him in the future.

Owls Fly South

After losing a school record 10 games in a row the Kennesaw State Fighting Owls have won three of five, including the latest two game win streak. The Owls posted consecutive Atlantic Sun Conference wins, and their first road wins of the season over the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles (81-70) and the Stetson Hatters (63-62). (more…)

Tigers Escape “Cage” with Double Overtime Win, Bobcats’ Lowery Sets Scoring Record

After a lackluster effort against the Walker Wolverines the previous night, the Bobcats fought tooth and nail with the Douglas County Tigers, who won the award for best team of the tournament, coming back several times from double digit deficits to force double overtime, but fell short 106-104, despite a record 46 points from Ryan Lowery, 24 in the second half. Walker Wolverines Berserker Bobcats

The Gilmer Bobcats had no answer in a contest, that was anything but, for Max Sims the Walker Wolverines. Sims had a game high 13 points, as well as four assists, most of which went to Ashwyn Mathaiah, who help slice and dice the Bobcats en route to a 54-38 route that was no where near as close as the final score indicated. Lady Bobcats Barely Beaten by Lady Mountaineers in Double Overtime

The Gilmer High School Lady Bobcats fought tooth and nail, for a game time total of five full quarters of play, only to come up on the wrong end of a 41-38 double overtime thriller. The defensive dominated the day; highlighted by Lady Bobcat, Sarah Lambert’s four blocks, and Lady Mountaineer Megan Spivey’s eight blocks. (more…)

Bobcats Wax Warriors of White County

Lady Bobcats Lose Close One to Warriors of White County
